Volunteer Ministers

Scientology Volunteer Ministers helped in the wake of such disasters as 911, the Tsunami and Katrina. Their help comes in the form of aiding search and rescue efforts, organizing and handing out supplies to areas that need them most, assisting survivors with the stress they experienced in the disaster, and many other activities.
They also can help people with personal problems, such as confusions in the work place, difficulties with communication and study, as well as many other problems people face in their everyday life.
I'm a Volunteer Minister and so are a lot of my friends. If you want help or to find out what can be done about it, call 1800 HELP 4 YU or check out this website:

Hello!

Hi! My name is Julia and I have been in Scientology basically since I was born. Both of my parents are Scientologists, so I have gotten a head start when it comes to learning the knowledge that Scientology offers. I'm going to try to post at least once a week with news about Scientology and any information that I happen to run across that I think whoever decides to read this blog might want to know.

My dad has a super cool blog called http://myscientology.blogspot.com. He's been blogging way longer than me, so if you want to browse three years worth of blogging on Scientology, with links and information about the subject, check out his blog.

Also, there's the official Scientology website, http://www.scientology.org. This site is chock full of information regarding Scientology, what can be done about it, along with facts about any and all things you've been hearing in the news lately. I'd try to give you links about everything I've heard, but this site pretty much covers it. If you want more sites to go to right away, look at my dad's blog until I get the hang of html.

I'll leave you with this little tidbit from the Scientology website in a section labeled "What is Scientology" (http://www.scientology.org/en_US/religion/presentation/pg006.html)

"The word Scientology literally means "the study of truth." It comes from the Latin word "scio" meaning "knowing in the fullest sense of the word" and the Greek word "logos" meaning "study of."
"Scientology is the study and handling of the spirit in relationship to itself, others and all of life. The religion comprises a body of knowledge extending from certain fundamental truths."

If you'd like to find out what those truths are, go to www.scientology.org.
