Sanity

This is an awesome quote:

"Sanity is dependent upon computation into the future." - L. Ron Hubbard

I thought that was pretty fascinating.  I mean, think about it.  Your sanity depends upon your ability to think about and plan the future.

Have you ever had a back bill or deadlines that seem to rush up to you?  That's not planning the future.  Feels pretty insane, right?

What do you think?

Yes! Sanity is dependent upon computation into the future! It's dependendent upon computation into the future, because sanity is the ability to recognize differences, similarities and identities. The legal definition of sanity is the "ability to tell right from wrong." The better one can tell differences, the more rational he is. The less one can tell differences, no matter how minute, and know the WIDTH of those differences and the closer one comes to thinking in identities (A=A), the less sane he is. See also A=A=A=A.
