The Aims of Scientology

I've never posted the Aims of Scientology, which are covered in Scientology 0-8 - The Book of Basics (can you tell I like that book? It's a plethora of information). Anyway, here are the aims:

"A civilization without insanity, without criminals and without war, where the able can prosper and honest beings can have rights, and where Man is free to rise to greater heights, are the aims of Scientology."

I really like that quote. It's such a simple sentence that lays out what many people want in their heart of hearts. What do you think?

I agree!

Aims: to direct a course, to aspire, to intend (per Merriam Webster)

I really don't see how anyone can disagree with the aims, whether Scientology is right for them or not.

Hi Madhatter - sorry it took me so long to publish your comment. I've been out of commission with a messed up shoulder the last few days - but it's all better now.
Anyway, I'm glad you like the Aims! Honestly, I can't see how anyone could disagree either. I find them very inspiring.

Thanks!
Julia

Glad to hear things are back on track!

Shoulder injuries are a real bummer.

Nice blog you have here. The aims you posted are fantastic, I think we all more or less aspire to those.
